If you’ve never had freshly made gnocchi before, you are in for a treat. Gnocchi originated in Northern Italy, where the cooler climate was better suited for growing potatoes rather than grain. In this hands-on class, you will learn how to turn just a few wholesome ingredients into delicious soft pillowy dumplings, or “gnocchi”. Join Innkeeper, Julie Webb, in making gnocchi from scratch. Julie will also demonstrate how to make a homemade mouth watering pesto sauce from Basil grown in Mary’s Land Farm’s greenhouse and our signature Secolari Olive Oil.
As a class you will also make a farm fresh salad with veggies currently available on our farm. Julie will also show you how to whip up a fresh Balsamic Vinaigrette with our Secolari products.
Menu:
