Farm “Craft”ernoon: Kid’s Sewing Class

January 10 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
$35

Our Farm “Craft”ernoon Kid’s Sewing Class invites children to explore creativity through this hands-on beginner sewing workshop!

A Creative Sewing Adventure

Kids will learn basic hand-stitching techniques in a supportive environment as they receive guided instruction on using a sewing machine safely. Throughout the class, each child will create a cute bean bag chicken from start to finish. As the project comes together, kids practice patience, focus, and problem-solving, gaining pride in creating something with their own hands.

Build Skills and Confidence

This class encourages learning through doing. Children gain confidence with every stitch they complete. Additionally, instructors provide gentle guidance to ensure success for all skill levels. This workshop also offers a preview of our popular Sewing and Needlework Camp, where families can explore the experience before committing to a summer session.

Key takeaways include:

Basic hand-stitching skills

Introductory sewing machine use

Fabric handling and simple construction

Creative expression through crafting
