Snowflakes and Ornaments – Watercolor your own holiday cards and bookmarks!

Just in time to get us in the mood for winter and the holidays! Participants in this watercolor workshop will create two of their own holiday cards (envelopes included) and beautiful bookmarks with festive watercolor snowflake and tree ornament designs.  First, we’ll experiment with a masking fluid technique to create pure white snowflake shapes surrounded by a vibrant blue background.  Then we’ll use a fun technique to paint colorful round ornaments on our notecards and bookmarks.  We can experiment with a “splatter” technique to add depth and add salt to our wet paint for a unique snowflake texture.

All materials are provided, including wine!
