Digestion: The Key to Optimal Health

Join us for this nutritional  education and cooking class taught by Jaime Brooke, a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Julie Webb, an Innkeeper at The Inn at Mary’s Land Farm. We often hear, “You are what you eat!” but there is more to the story: we actually are what we ABSORB.

Jaime will share the basics of food digestion: why it is important, how to optimize it naturally, signs to recognize when you’re not digesting your food well, things that negatively impact digestion (you may be surprised!) and finally which foods to include in your meals to support healthy digestion.

Following her presentation, participants will gather in the commercial kitchen for hands-on food preparation and tips with Julie.
