Making America Healthy Again: Shop Local, Eat Clean at Mary’s Land Farm

Regardless of age, faith, race, or political views, the desire for a healthy human race and community seems undeniable. “There is no issue that should unite us more than this health Epidemic” says RFK Jr. At Mary’s Land Farm, we want to see America healthy. As a small, family-run farm, we prioritize raising animals and producing food that’s not just delicious but also good for your body and the planet. This was the original intention when we started the farm – and it continues to be our primary goal. With growing concerns over the practices of large-scale agriculture and monopoly regulated food, we’re proud to offer an alternative that supports health, sustainability, and transparency.

The Problem with Big Agriculture

A major concern raised by leaders like RFK Jr. is the conflict of interest in food production. As he explains, “The food industry and big agriculture producers control the FDA, and so they’re not worried about public health; they’re worried about advancing the mercantile interests of those corporations.” This system prioritizes mass production over quality, leading to significant compromises:

Synthetic Interventions: Animals are often given antibiotics, steroids, and synthetic vaccinations to maximize output, which impacts the quality of life for the animals and the nutritional value of the meat.

Quality Concerns: Large processing plants handle vast quantities of animals, increasing the risk of bacterial contamination and cross-contamination. According to Joel Salatin in his 2022 podcast with Joe Rogan, the meats in grocery stores could have come into contact with up to 200 other animals during processing.

Foodborne Illnesses and Recalls: Low-quality control measures and rushed processing often result in product recalls and increased foodborne illnesses.

The Small Farm Difference

Small production farms like Mary’s Land Farm operate on a completely different model. Through our regenerative agricultural practices, we maintain a healthy atmosphere for our family, staff and employees, land and animals, resulting in quality products:

Ethical Animal Care: We produce a reasonable amount of food based on healthy ratios of land to animals. By rotating animals on pastures, addressing their needs individually, and allowing them to develop naturally, we ensure they live happy, healthy lives.

Nutritional Quality: Pasture-raised, grass-fed animals develop healthy fat profiles and nutrient-dense organs and meat, offering a superior product compared to factory-farmed alternatives.

Local Processing: Our meats are processed in small, local facilities where cleanliness and ethical practices are strictly enforced. This guarantees that the animal you purchase is the one raised on our farm.

Know Your Farmer: From the moment an animal is born to when it reaches your table, you can trust that we’re delivering a clean, ethically raised product.

The Impact on Your Family’s Health

Choosing real, nutrient-dense foods over ultra-processed options can transform your family’s health:

Healthier Kids: Replace sugary cereals and snacks with products like pasture-raised eggs, nitrate-free bacon, preservative free ham sliced, meat sticks and ground meats. You’ll notice improved energy, better focus, fewer tantrums, deeper sleep and an overall happier and healthier child!

Improved Mental Health: Nutrition impacts mood and cognitive function. Eating clean boosts energy levels and mental clarity, helping you and your loved ones thrive.

Prevention Over Cure: By feeding your body clean, nutrient-rich foods, you’re investing in long-term health and reducing the risk of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular issues.
